Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da hand clap
stopwow673:
I've heard the mono version on Youtube without the hand clap. I think I like it better. Which one do you guys prefer?
KelMar:
That's interesting to hear a different version, stopwow. I like that it's mono but I miss the hand claps. I like hand claps. LOL

In Britain 'Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da' is pretty much the go-to song for people who want to slag off The Beatles.
I sometimes think this is because they know the lame Marmalade version better which inexplicably was a U.K. no 1 single and not the much spikier original.
It's also hinted at that the song is somehow racist, conveniently forgetting (a.k.a. 'not knowing') that the phrase was African slang and that hundreds of black acts rushed to cover it before the 60s were out.

I don't really like the song to be honest. I cant blame people for using it to slag the Beatles.
