It's the current rank-out.  When I was a teenager we said things like "You're so low you have to look up to see down."

Stuff like this hasn't really changed much over the years.

Just had the pleasure of speaking with Peppy Castro of The Blues Magoos. They've reformed with three of the original members and are doing some light touring after having put out a new CD a couple of years ago. Very nice guy, quite exuberant, and doing it for the right reason: love of the music.

They're best known for their main hit '(We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet' but this video is particularly fun. Stick with it to the end...

Far out! I didn't realize that Jack Benny had such acts on his show. He was a regular Ed Sullivan!

An Immediate 3-cd set, Immediate being the mod/mid 60s label set up by Andrew Loog Oldham.
It features one 'Ob La Da Ob La Di Story' by Jimmy Scott.
Paul talked to the Nigerian one night and he kept using the phrase.
Paul wrote the song for the White Album and apparently Jimmy, as it was his phrase, decided to record a song with a similar title at the end of '68!
A sure hit.
It wasn't.....though it is terrific in that Georgie Fame/swinging Hammond organ type way.
