who are yours?
i love a good laugh and enjoy so many of them
-
One of my favourites! (Although he's talking against my degree lol!)
George Carlin - Saving the Planet (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eScDfYzMEEw#)
-
Michael Ian Black. Dane Cook. Daniel Tosh. Bob Saget.
-
George Carlin is no doubt my favorite but I also love Bill Hicks, Eddie Murphy, Robert Gustavsson, Richard Pryor and some others ^_^
-
I love Bill Hicks and Eddie Izzard. I always make sure to have some Eddie Izzard on my iPod if I know I'm going to be on a long car ride. He actually makes learning about history fun! I also really like Kathy Griffin in small doses, and Janeane Garafolo's earlier work. She used to be so witty, but now I feel as if she's really bitter.

^ Nice, Eddie Izzard was one of my ex's favourites so when we were dating, I watched a lot of his stuff!
If I may throw out a classic here...
Who's on first? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sShMA85pv8M#)

Of course I like the old comedy teams... Laurel and Hardy, Abbott and Costello... Hardly stand-up comedians though.
Bill Cosby of old (he seems to have lost something in the last few years.)
Brian Regan
-
Jim Gaffigan - Bacon - KING BABY - CD and DVD Available NOW! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaK9bjLy3v4#)
My favorite is definitely Jim Gaffigan.
-
Billy Connolly Live - Talking About Graveyards (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRPjWA6X8sY#)
-
I've seen so many comedians and its hard to choose a favourite I was mad on Roy Chubby Brown for awhile but he tends to do the same routine alot and I've recently got into Brendan O correl who dresses up as a old lady called Mrs Brown and she is very funny ;D I'm also into Al Murray The Pub Landlord & John Bishop.
-
My favorite is definitely Jim Gaffigan.
Hawt Pawkets...

-
i can't even answer my own question though. i just like whoever is new - sometimes i look for the latest comedy central special - or watch the show last comic standing
-
kind of like musicians - someone can be hot and groundbreaking when they come out and seem tame later. especially since comedians do topical stuff
-
alot of people are probably annoyed by robin williams or bored by steve martin - but they were like stand up superstars when they debuted ! especially steve martin
chris rock has alot of fans..... he's a seasoned pro!
ellen degeneres is known for talkshow hosting now, but she was an awesome stand up

Most of my favorites are Dutch comedians, like Herman Finkers, Najib Amhali, Theo Maassen and Javier Guzman. My favorite comedian in English is Henry Rollins. Chris Rock, Bill Hicks and Demetri Martin are pretty cool too.
Rollins:
Henry Rollins on Iron Maiden (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YgkKBQj5ntQ#ws)
Henry Rollins on the Ku Klux Klan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cJoiyOrcW8#ws)

I know he writes poetry, but his spoken word shows are always like this. The guy's amazing. He talks for over two hours straight without even stopping to drink in between, and he's funny, clever and interesting from the first to the very last second.
