Im reading it atm, its quite interesting, he was a prolific writer of letters
theres a few to his cousin Leila and in 79 he writes that Cynthia wont allow Julian to visit him hardly at all, however John seems sure that Julian will move to New York when he comes of age and he cant wait.
Thats kinda different than the Goldstien book that implies John wasnt interested in seeing Julian at the Dakota

I recently got that amazing book, but haven't started reading it yet, just looking through :)
Well, I'm not surprised, as I read from other books that Julian really wanted to visit John in New York, but John found him too young. He wanted that he finishes school first.
