Yeah.  It was hot and humid all day today looking like it would rain any moment.  But it didn't and has cooled off to about 70 now.

I'll have to tell my cousin that I know someone who is going to be talking to her first crush.  :) When we were kids and pretended to have boyfriends (girls do that sort of thing) hers was always John and mine was Davy Jones. Fast forward 30 years...I'm sitting in the dining room of my son's soon-to-be landlords when the husband mentioned a commercial he made for the local philharmonic. He said that Davy Jones was in it. He then gestured towards me and said "In fact, he sat in the same chair you're sitting in." I said "OH! I'm never washing these clothes again!" They just smiled politely at that outburst. My son told me later that I'm weird.

Heh. I suppose celebrity crushes are like that. In general, I guess I don't get that star struck thing when I'm interviewing folks. And, as they're usually guys, there's no...tension, if you know what I mean. I did speak with Johnette Napolitano (Concrete Blonde) fairly recently, and I have to confess a micro-crush with her, so I was a little anxious, I suppose. She was very sweet and down-to-earth, so it was fun. Afterwards, I have to say I had a bit of that I'll-never-wash-that-something-ever-again feeling. Not so sure what not to wash. Oh well, that's show biz.
