Just read the story.

That Paul, he's a sly one.  Just sent the document and counted on the receiver to find E. Rigby.

I know I've been hard on Paul at times, but you do have to be kinda a jerk not to like him.

Paul's a fascinating guy. His mind works in mysterious ways. Very cool thing to do.

Forgive me for being dense, but I'm curious as to why she's selling the document now.  She said she received this item back in 1990 when she needed "half a million pounds."  Why didn't she do something with it back then instead of leaving it in a bank vault until 2008?

Thanks for the photo Geoff.
If this is the same Eleanor Rigby buried in Woolton churchyard she would have been 16 years old in 1911. So that makes sense.

"E" doesn't necessarily mean "Eleanor"!

Look further down and you'll see Eleanor.

Maybe the name Eleanor Rigby was just a coincidence. Reporters are making it sound like coincidenceds aren't acceptable.

Maybe the two names from the graves just stuck in Paul`s memory and he used them later in his songs without being able to account for their origin.

So, according to That document, Ms. E. Rigby was a hospital worker in 1911. The gravestone of Eleanor Rigby states that she was born in 1895 and died in 1939.

An 1895 birth would suggest that it is the Eleanor Rigby born at Runcorn in the Spring of 1895 who would seem to fit the bill for this grave. There's a bit of travelling involved to get her from Runcorn to the Liverpool hospital for 1911, though. But then again, maybe the 'E' isn't actually an 'Eleanor'...?
