Yes, I know it's other people's favourite as well. To my ears, it just drags on and on and on. Nothing special. It's all a matter of taste obviously. ;D

Nah, now you're kidding.

Yeah, I didnt post Mr. Moonlight or Revolution #9 or obvious songs like that. I posted tunes that most people like, but I have trouble with.
Beatlemaniac posted Dr. Robert and I swear i'm the only person on earth that likes that song.

I've never had any problems with Dr. Robert either. In fact I don't really understand why a lot of people dislike it.

Old Brown Shoe
Savoy Truffle
Misery

I really do like Mr. Moonlight. I suspect The Beatles did too when they heard...
Dr Feelgood (aka Piano Red) - Mr Moonlight (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1CXyJntsZg#)
...in 1962.

Pretty much the same arrangement.

Without that goofy assed organ solo. Isnt the guitar strumming so much more tasteful?

Without that goofy assed organ solo.
Yeah. It did sound a lot like a skating rink. ;)

That song rocks! I like it very much.

It is a good rocker, but I think it's just to "sharp" or "edgy" sounding (in the bad way) and it repeats itself right into annoyance.
-
A Taste of Honey
Mr Moonlight
Run For Your Life
Fixing a Hole
Wild Honey Pie
Revolution 9
Maxwell's Silver Hammer
can't think of any more, haha
-
Fixing a Hole
Probably a top ten song of theirs for me (doesnt matter, just saying). I was thinking of this song when I read this and its one tune that I really love Georges Guitar tone. It makes the song for me along with the background harmonies.

One of my favorites too, and my favorite on Sgt Pepper.

I don't really know why I don't care much for it :/ maybe because I'm so in love with the other songs on the album haha, I still like it a whole lot, though ^_^ ;yes

I know it isn't a Beatle song, it is a John solo...
The only song, and I hear it so much is "The Nutopian International Anthem"
-
You Like Me Too Much is one I don't like too much at all.

Never been one of my favourites either. It's a fairly weak song anyway, but I think the piano part really lets it down. That bar-room piano thing which doubles George's guitar solo part is awful, and I don't like the intro or outro bits either.
It's one of those songs that would have benefitted from George working in a partnership with another songwriter - John and Paul had each other to bounce ideas off and it helped them improve their finished product. I think if that song had been a Harrison/McCartney/Lennon composition it could have been OK, but as it stands it does seem below the standards of the songs around it.

The lyrics are not very good either.
"You like me too much and I like you. I really do."
Very bubblegummy.

It is on an album with great songs like Help, Ticket To Ride, Yesterday, You're Gonna Lose That Girl, Act Naturally (well, maybe not that last one ;D ) and it doesn't compare favourably with such classics.
However, I bet most other bands around in 1965 would give their right arms to come up with a song like "You Like Me Too Much", but because it's the Beatles we come to expect more from them.
-
I know this will sound nuts but the only song I ever skip, besides Revolution 9, is I Am the Walrus. It's not that I don't think it's a great song musically but the dog line just makes me feel yucky. The pigs getting shot at too. Now, I don't skip A Day in the Life and it should disturb me more to think of someone blowing their mind out in a car. :-\
