zipp:
What Goes On is a Lennon/McCartney/Starkey composition.
I think Ringo must have contributed a line or two since it had actually been written for the most part before he was in the group!

Next question. What three Beatles songs are in the form of letters?

pc31:
dear prudence, martha my dear?,do you want to know a secret?[?]

The only one I can think of is "Why" (Y) - is that what you mean?

Thats a tough one. Three good choices there, but i'd scratch Martha and throw in P.S. I love you???

JWL:
Ok...I think maybe you made a mistake on this one, but here goes:

P.S. I Love You
Paperback Writer

Are both definitely in the "form" of a letter....however, I cannot think up another song that fits this mold.  I know plenty of other songs which talk about writing a letter, but are not actually in the form of a letter....The closest thing I can think of is:

Dear Prudence

Which opens with a greeting similar to a letter, but there is no evidence of a letter being written.

I would really like to hear the 3rd song, because I am stumped.
