He's done Happy Xmas awhile on the tours

Oh right? I think I missed them a couple of years running so it was new to me. Will be interesting to see the new John and how he compares.

I enjoy listening to Fab Fours' Hark! for a couple of years. I noticed that they will be playing locally early 2013 (presuming the Mayans are wrong), hopefully it will be a good night out.

There was a Bootleg Beatles performance on Youtube from a 1994 Japanese TV special, closest sound to the lads I've ever heard! They did All My Loving, She Loves You, A Hard Day's Night, Help!, Day Tripper, Taxman, Hey Jude, Helter Skelter, Get Back and maybe some others.

Paul Cooper had Paul absolutely nailed, and when Neil Harrison sang harmony (particularly on DT and GB), it was as close to sounding like The Beatles as mere mortals could get, IMHO - wondering if anyone has seen it? I'll be sure to put up a link if I ever come across it again.

PBS is currently running "Rain" on Austin City Limits right now. Just saw this on saturday and quite impressed at how good musically they were. You might be able to watch it on their site

My son and I caught 'Rain' on broadway in New York City a year or so ago. They are really good.

Just saw The Fab Four (being m/c'd by Ed Sullivan) - excellent! I wouldn't hesitate going to see this lot again.

I got to see and meet Brad Delp (Boston) a few times when he had his band Beatlejuice! I remember those nights as a lot of fun with really great covers. Their cover of Strawberry Fields Forever I was very impressed with as it was note for note even bringing in tympani drums for the show. Too bad he's gone.

I actually found one I really liked, they're called "Dirty Yoko" awesome is a short word, for them. You could come to Peru to listen to them, it's worth a try!

I saw Beatlemania in 76 or 77 and on one songs a bunch of balloons came down. For the next song they sat at the edge of the stage to do Yesterday and a screen came down behind them during the intro and popped one of the balloons! Everyone in the audience jumped including The Beatles but they didn't miss a beat!

They're great!!  I admire the "Paul" member, Ardy Sarraf.  He taught himself how to play lefty bass..and he sounds just like Paul...

Has anyone ever heard of the tribute band "Yesterday"? I came back to work from lunch today and a man had left two tickets there for a show next Thursday night. He and his wife can't make it so they decided to see if the library could find someone who'd like them. Fortunately my co-workers are well aware of my addiction. LOL

I'm not a big fan of Beatles tribute bands. But after seeing The Analogues on YouTube, I have ordered a couple of tickets for their show coming to my home town. The Analogues play Beatles albums complete. They have done Sgt Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour and now they're doing the White Album.
