Title: Magnified Sand
Post by: KelMar on April 22, 2016, 02:11:10 AM
Judging from the from the copyright date I'm probably the only person in the world who's never seen a picture of magnified sand but I just have to share this. Far out!

I've never seen magnified sand or magnified snowflakes, so thanks for sharing those, Kelley and George.

Or other places.  ;D

George, that snowflake is exquisite. Sometimes when the snow is just right I can see some neat designs on my black pea coat. I always marvel that those beautiful, tiny little things can band togehter and cause such havoc!

Kathy, I still can't believe that's really sand in that picture. When I googled it and found it wasn't just another fake thing getting passed around Facebook I was very excited. LOL

A snowflake won't get in your bathing suit.

A few of those things look like they were once alive.

I thought that too. I still can't get over this! I even dreamed about it the other night. LOL
