Help with film script title
« on: December 06, 2011, 02:18:15 AM »

Hi guys. I write amateur film scripts as a hobby, and have a new comedy on the go.

I usually have the Beatles involved in my storylines and this one is about Paul.

Ok the premise is an Aussie guy finds out, within the space of 20 minutes, while he's at the pub on a Friday night, that:

His wife has left him...

He is going to die in a months time...

And worst of all, Paul McCartney has cancelled his Australian tour!!!

In a race against time before the Grim Reaper comes to nab him, our hero - and his mates - travel to the US, determined to see Macca live, before the end.

Now, it has a working title of 'Walking To Macca', which is ok. But I'm open to any suggestions from you fellow Beatle nuts out there!

Something to do with a Beatle song title would be cool. For some reason I can't think of a snappy title; perhaps because my head is filled with stuff for the script.

Anyway, give me a yell if anyone has a brainstorm!

Cheers stevie

That's a neat hobby. I'll put on my thinking cap. Maybe while I'm doing something boring like drying my hair I'll come up with something.  ;)

Thanks guys! Some cool suggestions.

'Last Ticket To Ride' might be better but 'Hello Goodbye' is very good! It fits the situation, Paul sings it, yes, I like it.

"Pilgrimmage" is it.  That's brilliant.
