Wait, when is this coming out?

I believe Wings Over America came out a while ago, but yea, it's no longer in print at the moment.

EDIT: Nevermind, I checked Amazon and they said Nov. 7.

I got one from Amazon for 60 bucks. The real dvd Wings over America is expensive. Most of the ones on E-bay are cheap because its a burnt copy as opposed to the real thing.

It was out on Beta and Laserdisc. I was lucky enough to get one that was burned from a laserdisc, so the quality is pretty decent, but there is alot of junk being sold out there.

I remember those days long ago, back in the 70's, when live albums ruled & I got Wings Over America for Christmas 30 years ago.  Live DVD's are the thing now & Paul seems to be the kind of the medium these days.  I'm looking forward to his A&E special, which this is taken from & I'm not expecting anymore major tours.

I bought and watched the new dvd yesterday. I enjoyed it, but I found myself a little dissapointed. If you're going to buy it thinking its a full concert...don't do it. Its like a sort of concert documentary. It had a nice progression to it, sort of like a story. The bad thing is...I went to the opening show last year and saw the songs he preformed...They took out a lot of songs. They took out Jet, Band on The run, Live and Let Die, Hey Jude and a few others for songs like Good Day sunshine, Til their was you, Fixing a Hole..it was dissapointing. From the songs they showed...it looks as though he barely rocked out which is not the case at all. What a dissapointment!

Another thing that made me sick was the fact that I saw more of the audience Lip syncing, Dancing Horribly, Crying and doing other stupid stuff  more than Paul and the band. It was out of control how much they showed the audience..I was cringing at some of the parts. They also showed two rather fanatical families...that was a bit too much. It was a good dvd, but it didn't give Paul credit that he could rock out more than a lot of bands today. Plus I would have rather seen the full concert like Rockshow than having those scenes of outside the show and other things. In the end...I was dissapointed but still a great dvd nonetheless.

This is a great dvd!! I had Macca sign it for me!

Its very good with a a good live concert! I liked the fact he done Please Please me and I'll get you! I didn't like how they cut Let It Be short! But found it great how they ended on Macca walking down a path! that was cool!

There's no date on Put It There. Presumably it's been around for a while though. Got it reduced, and the song Put It There is early nineties.
