I look from the wings of the play you are staging. As I'm sitting here, doing nothing but aging. While my guitar gently weeps.

I like a lot of his solo songs. But I have to agree with GHL Give Me Love is one of me favorites. Along with All Things Must Pass that song gets me every time. Oh yeah and Blow Away that song is so sweet!

Solo? My Sweet Lord. I first heard the Billy Preston version during Concert For George; then I fell in love with the All Things Must Pass album.

Beatle song, though, is Blue Jay Way: http://www.simplybeatles.com/
I named my Beatles blog after that song.

Not sure if it's his "best" song, but one that always got me was "All Those Years Ago".  He was such a great, expressive slide player.  Something about the way he plays slide guitar on that song always got me a little teary-eyed.  Not only because it was a tribute to John, but just the slide guitar itself seemed to express everything people were feeling.  Great playing, and distinctive George.
