Woah...I wouldn't go THAT far Zep Fan. I just meant the Hard Days Night and Please Please Me albums! This man does not represent me!

Seeing as they made the Beatles what they are, i give them much respect, but i never liked them that much musically.  I think a lot of the Beatles early catalogue is weak ex. This Boy

The Beatles early stuff is classic. You have to think of it in the time it was put out. That stuff started a whole revolution in the music industry and had a huge effect on our culture! Think about how things changed after that. Well, it started with those poppy songs which at the time were huge hits.  Plus they are pleasant tunes to listen to even today. Everyone knows those songs and probably loved them at one point in their lives.

Some songs I skip simply because they are too boring/repetitive, but some of their "songs" aren't in fact theirs and are covers

Oh yeah, and people's opinions differ - beauty of the beatles, there's something for everyone... except people who like rap (afraid1)(shakehead2)

(laugh2)

Well, "Happiness Is A Warm Gun" has rap............oh wait, that was the U2 version...

Do you guys have a lot of rap in Australia? I figure you'd avoid it easier, it's all we have here on the singles charts.....R and B and Rap...

Yeah, we have a lot of what i call  neo-"R&B", and Rap.

There is some Rock - we appreciate our rock, but some of our "rock" is rubbish like Simple Plan *sigh*

Somebody told me Rap was black people's culture... I don't think that is true because some of the greatest guitarists of all time were black..

And the rap artists with the longest reign of success, The Beastie Boys, are white.
