I knew Heaven Can Wait was a remake but I didn’t know the original had a different title. I hope your on call time is quiet, Barry.

It's been pretty quiet, Kelley.

There was a 1943 movie called Heaven Can Wait but it had a different storyline...

A great comedy with a great cast.

Gene Tierney was gorgeous!

That’s good.

Yes, quite different! I know it wasn’t meant to be funny in the way I took it but I like the line, “If you want to win a girl you have to have lots of beetles.”  ;D

When I was a kid, I gravitated toward girls like Little Mary.  She was cool!

You might not have liked me very much. My mom said I was playing in the sandbox when she heard this terrible screaming. She thought I’d hurt myself but all it turned out to be was a worm crawling across the sand. Not too cool!

The poor worm!  Stuck in that sandbox where it would never survive.  You should have picked it up and put it under some bushes so it could make a good home.  :)

But for me, the true test if a girl was cool was to find the ugliest insect I could and walk up to her and say "Here, this is for you."  If she didn't scream, she was cool.   icon_good

Eww! If I saw that in my house I’d catch it in a jar and throw it outside...quickly!

Cute name; gross bug.  :P

I don’t mind caterpillars too much because I love butterflies. They're a symbol of resurrection so seeing one feels like a visit from one soul or another.

Thor: Ragnorak.  I enjoyed it.  A lot of humor, but it delivered.

I saw Thor as well recently. It was good fun. Balanced the action and comic bits pretty well I thought.

It’s the 30th anniversary of that Thanksgiving classic “Planes, Trains and Automobiles”. We’ve been watching it annually for at least 20 of those years.

I took my lads to see Black Panther. It’s been getting all the good press and it was the usual  entertaining couple of hours.

It’s pretty good but lacks the humour and charismatic characters that are a feature of the best Marvel films. It’s a bit more violent and takes itself a bit too seriously.

Still worth seeing if you’re into superhero movies.

Just saw Dr Zhivago in the theater. It was so good to see it on the big screen. It's such a beautiful movie... it's a favourite of mine. :)
