I LOVED Beavis and Butthead.  I watched it religiously.

I loved the basic concept, even though it was too limited to develop or vary much: two dim guys who never- and probably couldn't- do anything except watch TV and make dumb comments about it. I used to know guys like that when I was in the eighth grade.  ;D

When I first heard that the MTV Awards were to be held in Liverpool I wanted to present a special Mersey Beat Award to the Beatles as the Best group ever from Merseyside. This was actually to tie in with the fact that the Mersey Beat Shield was the very first award they ever received. I thought it would be appropriate for the event being in Liverpool to present Paul or Ringo or a representative with a Mersey Beat Award during the City of Culture year. Though MTV were approached numerous times on my behalf - no interest whatsoever!

I loved Sunday night's show, "120 Minutes"..........two hours of new, cutting-edge music.  That was great.  And, of course, "Headbangers' Ball" on Saturdays........

Those stupid MTV people. Don't they knoiw that including Mr Astley will get people who normally wouldn't give a monkees toss about these awards talking about them, maybe even watching. Are they dumb or what!  :)

MTV has no credentials for me anymore since they stopped being "all music videos".  They suck!!!  I have to go to youtube for my daily "fix" of music videos...........

Agree 100%. VH1 is much better. ..and YouTube of course.

Tokyo Hotel is a group of teenage boys for teenage girls, their style is EMO, their colours are black and pink, they are shouting and crying with painted tears on the faces. Total rubbish in my opinion. Sorry!

Bjork - singing in the daylight but not dancing in the darkness. Which are two different things.

I mean I'm happy they're nominated for that but seriously "greatest act ever" couldn't think of a better name... but then again it's MTV.
