Indeed! It was no coincidence that Howlin' Wolf appeared on Shindig with the Stones on May 26, 1965.

I would venture to say that the Stones were responsible for giving a lot of American teens their introduction to the blues.

Interesting to hear The Stones' true (and infinitely more pleasant) voices rather than the cockney angle they chose to adopt post-Brian when, presumably, they'd be described as 'more real' by some!
