Black Sabbath to play Albert Hall.
« on: June 05, 2005, 02:31:36 PM »

Legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath will give their final performances at the Albert Hall in October with a week of shows after over 30 years with timeless rock classics ending on Halloween.  The original BS with Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler & Bill Ward changed the face of rock & roll in the 70's with their bluesy, ballsy, blistering & thunderous sound.  It has been rumored that Iommi might be going out on the road as a solo artist next year after his latest album Fused is released while Osbourne will retire permanently from the music business.

This is a great way to go out! Hopefully the "Stones" will get the hint and also retire gracefully to their country estates and tropical island retreats!!!!!!!!!!!!
