I Wanna Be Your Man
« on: October 22, 2010, 07:18:56 PM »

My son is in his room playing Beatles rockband and I walked by while this song was on. They rocked pretty damn hard in the middle of this tune. I take it George played the lead (not looking it up right now) but this song jammed. Especially for the time period. I'm looking at this song in a new light now.

It's okay, but I can see why they gave it to the Rolling Stones.

And the Stones were very pleased with it! There's the reason why the Beatles are better than the Stones. ha2ha

Better yet, imagine hearing it as originally planned. John was supposed to sing lead on this track. Ringo was supposed to sing "Little Child", but Ringo wasn't too keen on it, so he and John switched.

After I listened to the posted video I can hear an early version of Johns repetative one line songs in a similar style to You Know My Name , I Want You, What a Shame Mary Jane had a Pain at the Party, etc....I'm sure there's more but those are the ones that come to mind.
