The complete version of Helter Skelter
« on: May 03, 2004, 04:42:14 PM »

I know some of my fellow Beatles fans have probably heard the complete 20/25 minute version of Helter Skelter on bootlegs which I hope to hear before too long because I was expecting the complete version on the Beatles Anthology 3 CD which is why I was kind of disappointed as a Beatles fan but hopefully this hard rock gem will be released in its entirety officially in the near future!!!

Actually I have never heard it either, and tho I have thought from time to time I would like to hear the whole thing, knowing a lot of the stuff left in the can SHOULD have been left in the can I don't know how much I'd like it once I did hear it.

I hope someday the" complete " 20/25 minute version of Helter Skelter will finally be released because what was on Anthology 3 was kind of disappointing!

This legendary version of Helter Skelter has NEVER been bootlegged.

If the version on Anthology is a taste of it though, it might not be as great as we have been led to believe!

I was never really a big fan of this track - it would still be great to hear it though!

It's going to be great seeing Paul possibly playing Helter Skelter live for the first time on his upcoming tour but I wouldn't mind hearing the complete 20/25 minute, balls to the wall, take no prisoners, kick ass version instead of what's on the White Album.

Helter Skelter is one of my all time favorite songs, I hope this 20 minute version is available somewhere. Maybe the UB guy knows about it

Wayne is right, Paul has scheduled Helter Skelter for his encore set in the Spain show (third encore actually).

No, the long version of Helter Skelter has NEVER been booted. However, there have been FAKE fan mixes around for a while (at least eight, nine years I think).

Has anyone ever heard the 30 minute version of Helter Skelter where they were "out of their heads"? That would be an interesting listen.
