Except for Beatles, Van Morrison! That little guy can really belt it out. He's got such raw emotion in his voice. On an unrelated note, he kinda looks like a leprechaun. Well, that's the image my friend put in my head!

I just thought of a couple others that could have been on the poll.  John Kaye of Steppenwolf and Burton Cummings of The Guess Who.

Also, I've been reading about PJ Proby, lately, don't know what you think of him.

I voted for John Lennon. <3 There were a lot of crazyrabidlymadly great singers in the 60's, man. *_* But John...wooooo.

If John hadn't been on the poll, I pro'lly would've voted for Mick Jagger. But definately Paul, Jim Morrison, Roger Daltrey...looooooove.

I love his voice on Time! It's one of my favorite Floyd songs too. Roger's voice is cool on Shine On as well. He and Dave's voices mix together well. I wish their personalities mixed togehter that well. I want a Floyd reunion tour!!

Yeah a Floyd reunion tour in which they brought out Syd to do a couple of songs.  And Syd wouldn't be freaked out, just a little scared until he started up the riff to interstellar overdrive and rick and nick and even grumpy old roger started to fill in behind him.

I think it is Paul. But since he was not in the selection, I voted for John. Like may people apart from me. :)

Actually if you want the greatest "voice" of the 60s that would belong to "Roy Orbison"   Pretty Woman, Only The Lonely and numerous other songs highlighted his signing abilitys. His voice cut through any song he sang!
