Name the non-Beatle who has made the most appearances in a Beatles theatrical film (documentaries don't count).

Prolly too simplistic, but Victor Spinetti comes to mind first.

As a master of Beatles trivia (humbly proclaimed), I would have said the same thing. Spinetti was a brilliant addition to all three movies he appeared in. But, it was recently brought to my attention that someone else holds the record with four (4) appearances. I had to check it out and - yep, "one" "two" "three" "four" (Can I have a little more) - it's true. However, one appearance is so brief, you have to pause your DVD player to confirm it. Any other guesses?

I love learning new stuff about the Lads.

Cool cameos there.  Mal Evans was the Alfred Hitchcock of Beatles movies.    ;D

Good job! I'm surprised images of Mal weren't subliminally added to Yellow Submarine. Then again...

Interesting. 'Let It Be' is not considered a documentary?

Good question. In some ways it is, but it was definitely a theatrical release. Wanna arm wrestle over it?

Which reminds me: when I saw it in the theater, every time Yoko's face was on the screen, a group "hiss" was emitted by the entire audience. Mainly female hisses.

Yes, I'd forgotten. Thanks for jogging my memory.

There's also Brian Epstein's cameo in AHDN which goes unmentioned.

And who knows the inside Beatles joke from Caveman?
