I find him to be very cheesy. But that's just my opinion.

Heaven- Bryan Adams. Now that's a big ol' hunk of cheddar.

I myself do not find Billy Joel to be cheesy in the slightest. However, I've been told differently by many a person. I'm forever faithful to my fellow Long Islander though.

'I Go to Extremes' and 'Vienna' are two of my theme songs. "And So it Goes" is another. I love that man. I don't blame Mairi for thinking he's cheesy if all she hears is the stuff on the radio, but do some digging, and as is true for almost every artist, the best stuff are the songs you never hear. I have an autographed 'Turnstiles' album and it is one of my prized possessions. I think that and 'The Stranger' should have been a double album. They are both full of New York, flawless, and may I say, f***ing awesome. Amen. Sorry, got off topic.

When I was little, I had Beatles albums and I had Billy Joel albums. I was pretty exclusive to them until about 12. I think Captain Jack and Miami 2017 are two of the coolest songs ever. Loved when he played 2017 at the Concert for NY. Not a dry eye in the house. Yet they never get radio play. Anyway, I stopped listening to Billy around the Glass Houses period though. Hated most of his 80's stuff.

Its timely, I thought, yesterday on the MSN homepage, it had an article about 'guilty pleasures' with a picture of, gulp, Kenny G.

Toto had a few really good cheesy love songs. Mushanga and Pamela are my favorites. Especially that 'Just remember it may not heal this time' line... Wow...

Wow, great list!

I Won't Let You Down is one of my all time favorite songs (3rd or 4th, probably), Dust In The Wind and I Want To Know What Love Is are pretty high up there too.

Certainly the Nazareth classic "Love Hurts" must rank high on everyone's list.

What about break-up songs? Do those count? If so then maybe Motley Crue's "Don't Go Away Made (Just Go Away)"

Yeah, I heard that it was about God too, except it was on The Simpsons, so I couldn't really be sure. But how is it creepy?
