How could I forget? For shame. The 41st anniversary of the Fabs landing on our soil and Macca is headlining the Superbowl. Shame on me.
-
Yeah, I heard this on the radio the other day. I almost forgot. For some reason though I thought you were from the U.K!

Ha! What you don't like living in the cheese state? Or is it the cow state? I used to know this. Dairy?

Pick anyone that suits you, my dear. Officially its the Dairy State. When they were looking for a new state slogan, someone suggested "Smell our Dairy Air" which I thought was brilliant, but it got nixed. Luckily I live in the SE corner so I'm closer to real cities and don't live on a farm or anything like that.

Smell our Dairy Air! That's great. Milwaukee's the only place I'm familiar with. You know, Laverne and Shirley. ;D

Another thing that makes me think of Milwaukee: Alice Cooper in Wayne's World. Meelwawkey. Or whatever he says.

You are correct, but they landed at JFK on the 7th.

I was only two weeks old when the Beatles landed in NYC on Feb. 7 for their American debut on Ed Sullivan on Feb. 9.

i'd hate to get off topic, but is wisconsin bad?
i'm only asking because in the movie, "dogma" there is this joke about how these two angels (played by matt Damon and ben Afleck) were sent to the only place worse than hell-wisconsin.

There are worse places to be, I just don't know why I was planted here, I should have been born in New York or somewhere warm. Overall, its not that bad.

New York is hardly warm around this time of year. Especially if you go upstate or to the Island. I guess it's warmer when compared to Alaska or something.
-
I think he meant either New York or if not New York someplace warm. Upstate is VERY cold, but the Island isn't any colder than the City. Or Jersey for that matter. Still cold, but I don't think it gets as cold as Wisconsin. I've never been to Wisconsin though so I have no idea.

You are correct, m'dear. New York is the greatest city on the planet, otherwise someplace with palm trees would work. I have an interview in St. Petersburg, FL coming up, so maybe that's where life will take me.
-
if you can handle wisconsin you could probably handle new york
-
I love New York! I miss it.
-
yeah, but south cali aint bad either.

Me too. I need to get out there soon and cleanse my soul. I'll meet you Friday night at 'The View' at the Marriot Marquis. Drinks are on me.
