Yes, Kev, her family moved to Melbourne when she was six.  Her family was quite distinguished as her maternal grandfather was Nobel Prize–winning physicist Max Born.  Her father was an MI5 officer on the Enigma Project during WWII.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer thirty years ago.  At that age, the disease is very aggressive.  I admire her resolve in facing her disease and her philanthropic activities in cancer research and wellness.

I also liked her singing and acting.  Her last few months were very difficult.
