Review: 'Ringo 2012' bonus DVD gives interesting look inside album's creation

It's not unusual for a musician to do a promotional Interview for his new album, but Ringo Starr's video walk-through for "Ringo 2012," available on a CD/DVD bundle only through Amazon.com, nicely goes inside the album and the man who made it. (The U.S. version is also available through Amazon.co.uk.) The DVD only lasts 16 minutes, but in that time, Ringo talks about the naming of the album (he says he called it "2012" to keep it simple) and goes through each track individually talking earnestly about what was involved in making it. There is also some footage of the recording sessions, and footage of his All-Starr Band.
