simple
i pick two people to be beatles without revealing it to the rest of you playing. they can kill off one of the townspeople (those that are not the beatles or the detective) and choose how to kill them off. this occurs duing a phase called "night".
there is another person on your side (detective) that has the power to ask me if someone is one of the beatles. i have to tell them if they are or not. while everyone (including the two beatles) vote once a "day" and whoever gets voted will be executed for being a beatle
the game ends when both beatles are executed or the townspeople are all executed

Does this have to be played when eveyone is online at once? I can't see myself doing if so :-/

no no. over the course of an actual game...cause there really is no fesible way to do something on a scale this large on here. check in like once a day
