Thank you everybody. Somebody told me about the song: " Perhaps Lennon had a way of hiding misery with scarism. You now how someone might tell some else off but in a kidding sort of way while at the same time meaning every nasty word of it" or something like that. What do you thik about?. Cheers. U John.

What you say about the music being happy and the lyrics sad is very true indeed and I kind'ah like it. This sort of musical "antithesis", as I like to call it, is specially noticeable in the song "I'm down". Its funny because whenever I'm down i hear that song and it cheers me up a bit.

Well, that's a good point, Rocky Raccon. I never though about "I'm down" as another example of sad lyrics-happy music. Maybe it's just a way to handle everyday's problems: I'm thinking about John's and Paul's post war era, their childhood in a tough city as Liverpool..... Sure it got to be more songs like that.

By the way, we could say we came from Nowhereland...(wink2) but we are Spanish, really.

Cheers pal!

Sounds nice guys. Got a nice Lennon tone to the voice.

Why has Dandyman turned into DickF_ckGood? Can tell by his poorly translated criticism attempt.
Does he not realise that kids look at this site too? Well done Dandyman. Lower the tone, I hope it makes your sad humour giggle!!!!!

That's really beautiful. Your voice sounds quite a lot like Lennon, and the melody has a Dylan-esque feel to it. Nice job.
