This sort of musical "antithesis", as I like to call it, is specially noticeable in the song "I'm down". Its funny because whenever I'm down i hear that song and it cheers me up a bit.

Post by: on November 22, 2004, 07:44:17 AM: Well, that's a good point, Rocky Raccon. I never though about "I'm down" as another example of sad lyrics-happy music. Maybe it's just a way to handle everyday's problems: I'm thinking about John's and Paul's post war era, their childhood in a tough city as Liverpool..... Sure it got to be more songs like that.

By the way, we could say we came from Nowhereland...(wink2) but we are Spanish, really.
