British mainstream (ie not cable/satelitte) TV is actually very good for rock fans. Recent "Imagine" series had great bio's on Gram Parsons, Brian Wilson and others. Channel 4 has regular "Top 50 songs of all time" type things.

Thank God I've got the DVD or I'd be jealous! I wish they'd have more concert DVD's of Floyd in their prime. The making of Dark Side was okay, but not enough old footage for me.

also has anyone seen them LIVE ?

I saw them live in 1994 at Earls Court in London .. .the gig was out of this world.. i would luv to see them again :)
