The Beatles And Ireland is a new book exploring The Beatles' Irish connections, including eyewitness accounts of the two gigs they played here.

I thought 'It's a book. So, I suppose I should put this under 'books'.' Although I hesitated for a moment: I was also thinking of posting it in Paul Doherty's Mailbox, but I couldn't find that.  :)

And he also said it a few times... If I am not mistaken, Ringo is the only one who isn't of an Irish decent

Quote
McCartney (a variant of Macartney or MacCartney) is a surname that originated in Ireland

That's from Wikipedia though...  Then again it goes on to say that the original McCartney's split off between Ireland and Scotland

My pleasure.  Now if I could use Wikipedia for everything.

Here's the link for it if anyone wants to check it out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McCartney

You're welcome. I'm pretty sure someone posted a YouTube-link to an interview with the Beatles in Ireland a while ago.
