Ivory Coast. And he totally deserved that yellow card. You could see he was looking at Van der Sar and that he moved his foot towards his shoulder.

no way, the goalie came in and grabbed the  ball right as it was going to be kicked, you could see him trying to pull his foot away.

I dunno... Drogba does have a reputation of doing those sneaky little things (he also grabbed Van Bommel by the balls, did you see that?). Referees know that too.

Yeah, impressive. I'm glad Holland vs Argentina doesn't really matter anymore, cause after today I'm not so sure anymore that we can take them.

There wasn't a single bullsh*t red card in the match. They were all deserved.

I thought Pope's second card was unnecesary.  Anyway Italy has to beat Czech Rep. and US has to beat Ghana to stay alive.

There's also a posibility that the USA goes to the second round if they beat Ghana and the Czech Republic beats Italy. But in that case Czech Republic and USA will have to win with a difference of at least 5 goals combined (for instance 1-0 and 4-0, 2-0 and 3-0, 2-1 and 4-0, 2-0 and 4-1 etc.).

And still, there isn't a single team that's really convincing me. Not even Brazil. Maybe Argentina.

But indeed, before the tournament started, everyone thought Brazil would be unbeatable, but it doesn't seem like that now.

We thought they were good, maybe excellent, hard to beat, but unbeatable? Never! Every tournament they're  favourites and every now and then someone beats them.

I watched most of Spain v. Tunisia.  Spain more or less wore Tunisia down, but they didn't seem to dominate.

It is just me or do the African teams tend to play a more physical game than other continents?

The news of people (including a seven yearold!!!!!!! and a disabled driver) being physically attacked in Scotland for wearing an England shirt REALLY P*SSES ME OFF (and it takes alot, believe me).
That's the last time I'll ever drop change into their cups. Miserable, raining, mosquito infested, fried Mars Bar eating, can't even beat the Faroe Islands..........
