Now they get to wear polo shirts and pants or shorts. That's still not enough to make me want to go back to work there. Waitressing is a very hard job!

That's too bad.  Half of the fun going to those places was to see how the girls looked in their uniforms.  With Roy Rogers it was ALL the fun!

The weather was perfect here for the yesterday's eclipse. I hope it will be the same in 2024. We'll be in the path of totality for that one.

Now that I think of it, my apron was white, too. I never made sundaes but I carried a lot of them. Those Reese's Pieces Sundaes with the five scoops of ice cream, served in the enormous dish, were heavy!

Other than that uniform, was Wegman's a good place to work then? I always hear that they're rated quite high in that respect. I love to shop there but have to go out of town to do it. We have Top's and two local stores. Oh, and of course, the ubiquitous Walmart.
