Hi!

I read a thread yesterday regarding the swearing on Hey Jude, but I can't find it now, so I started a new thread!!!

The swearing occurs at aprox 2 minutes 58 seconds into the track. Anyway, here's a link to what everyone was talking about!

Here's a site that lists all Beatle song anomolies. It's very cool. I like the Ob La Di one. They the Hey Jude one and then give a few alternate things he might be saying.

That's a really good site actually - I often refer to that for quick references.

The anomalies are actually taken from the "What Goes On" site - a VERY comprehensive list of every single mistake in Beatles' songs (that's where I got the Hey Jude link above!).

It goes something like this:

Paul and John sing: "Remember to let her under your skin"
Someone (probably Paul) sings "Ohh"
Paul and John sing: "Then you..."
As they sing "...begin" George says "f***ing hell"

Apparently Jihn says "got the wrong chord" somewhere in there too, but I don't hear that!

Strangely enough, this is absolutely NOT a hoax! It's on the original master tapes, and was mentioned in Mark Lewisohn's Sessions books (he had access to the actual master tapes). Listen carefully - it's definitely there... honest! ;D
