My best is 'We Can Work It Out' and I'd say my worst was 'I've Got A Feeling' - I love the 2 songs used to create it but that part at the end where they both mash-up their lyrics... I just don't think it works too great.

Forgive me in advance for hijacking this thread, but...

It's so amazing how you'd say the worst was "I've Got A Feeling." It's funny because of all the Beatles songs, that's without question my favorite. I think the way they mixed the two songs at the end is simply brilliant. I can't help but get goosebumps every time I hear John and Paul singing dual leads at the end, while George plays perhaps his best performance on guitar as a Beatle (of course, that's just my opinion). In fact, if I were to play just one Beatles song for someone who had never heard of them before, I'd play "I've Got A Feeling" without thinking twice. It's one of the only songs where John and Paul both sing lead (Paul's voice was at its best at this point, I think; I also feel it's his best vocal performance as a Beatle), George's guitar is unreal, Paul's bass is amazing, John's rhythm guitar is almost perfect, Ringo once again is spot on and innovative in his drumming, and Billy Preston even jams right along with them to give the song a more bluesy, jazzy sound. I just always felt that this song really showcases what the Beatles were capable of, more so than any other song in my opinion.

I can't believe this !!! I LOVE 'Love Me Do' . I think it's brilliant .
Best : I'll go with 'She's Leaving Home' - the voice 'combo' is simply wonderful (a way better song than 'A Day In The Life' in my opinion)
Worst : I really don't know...I tend to like something about every Beatles song...

Interestingly, I have to go down quite far on my list of favourite Beatles songs before I hit a Lennon/McCartney collaboration. Most of my favourites are either McCartneys (Golden Slumbers medley, Hey Jude, Let It Be, Blackbird, Here There & Everywhere, Lovely Rita, I Will), Lennons (Across the Universe, Strawberry Fields Forever, Dear Prudence, Don't Let Me Down, I Am the Walrus, I Feel Fine, Real Love), or Harrisons (While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Here Comes the Sun Something).

I'm not really sure if this can really be considered a Lennon/McCartney collaboration (there is a lot of controversy surrounding the authorship), but it might be "In My Life" for me.  After that, it would be "Baby You're a Rich Man."

For my least favourite Lennon/McCartney: "I Wanna Be Your Man." Ee. I think we would have been better off if they would have just let Ringo write a song instead. Horourable mentions: "Love Me Do," and if it is a Lennon/McCartney composition, "One After 909."  After watching Let It Be, I would have to agree with what Paul said about why they never recorded it before: the lyrics were terrible. Looks like they didn't re-write it.
