Here's how little I know about todays popular music.

I would have sworn on my life that REM had a number one hit.

I thought Ke$sha was black.

Who is Flo Rida?

I dont think i've ever heard 'I Gotta Feeling' by the Black Eyed Peas.

Never heard a Katy Perry song before and the only thing i'd ever buy with her name on it would be a Playboy.

Isnt Glee just a TV show? I've never heard one song from any Glee member.

Justin Beiber plays the drums so he gets a pass from me.


These are all honest to goodness truths.

Don't forget that today's world has much more people and media influence, so the number of potential record buyers is higher than 40 years ago.
