'Beatlemania Now' brings the Fab Four to the Shore for show at Atlantic City's Tropicana

Imagine it is Sunday night, Feb. 9, 1964, and you are part of a television audience of 73 million tuning in to watch four mop-topped kids from Liverpool on "The Ed Sullivan Show."Imagine further that you are able to fast-forward the rest of the 1960s, with all of its turbulent history, while the boys mature from bubblegum tunes like "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "She Loves You" into a band that reflects the social consciousness of the decade with "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," "Abbey Road" and "Let It Be."This is "Beatlemania Now." It is playing at the Tropicana in Atlantic City through Wednesday, so hurry down before you miss it. That would be a shame. The Beatles' explosion onto the American musical landscape is one of the most spectacular events in television history, and through the magic that is "Beatlemania Now" you become a part of that history nearly 50 years later.
