I'm a big fan of both The Beatles and The Who, and I think it was only Keith Moon that seemed to get on with The Beatles. He and Ringo were good friends and Keith spent his last evening at a party thrown by Paul and Linda.
There's a video of Pete Townshend at McCartney's Rockestra session and neither of them look particularly comfortable with each other ....
