Not quite. If you read, you can see that most people were annoyed at the rumor that they'd be wearing the Sgt. Pepper uniforms not so much the perfomance itself. Which I thought was pretty cool myself. Or at least interesting.

i wouldve actually paid to see Macca, Bono, The Edge, and Larry wear the suits. Adam can go back to his blonde fro that he used to have. that'd be one trippy concert.

I wonder how they got the french horn players.  

I can just see the manager chomping on his cigar: Alright, boys, we need you need to look vaguely like one of the Beatles, fit into one of these suits, and play the French Horn.

The George looks suspiciously like Eric Idle.
