Well 1993 because he sings it slightly better. It's a prime candidate for a new arrangement in a lower key...

If I had the choice of course I'd listen to the 1966 recording from the studio where they sing it. That's the best version. However if I was there tomorrow and he "mangled" it I'm sure I'd be taken away with the excitement and verve of being there. Strokes for horses.

I don't think his vocals from '89-'93 are all that great really (of course compared to how it was before).

This was more or less the last time we heard that real sweet voice...
