Followed by "Here Comes the Sun"...the perfect way to emerge from the trance.

T our school, the 4th graders gave a concert and did Hound Dog, Help, Here Comes  the Sun, I Walk the Line, a Bob Marley song, and a couple others. It was a geat show, one of the best I've heard yet! The Grandparents loved it! The kids were great!

That sounds great! What a wonderful lineup, and I think it's great that the teacher is educating the kids about such classic artists and songs.

Ah!  The CD generation speaks.

On vinyl, you have to flip the record over to get to Here Comes The Sun.  Unless you're too tranced out by the end of I Want You to get up and move.  ;)

Oops! I did have the vinyl many years ago. I bought it at a church sale when I was 9 years old. That and the White Album. I was really bummed when I got home and found that Paul's picture was missing.

This song inexplicably popped into my head a few minutes ago. I had no idea who sang it and when and I bet I haven't thought of it since it played on the radio in 1972. Why does that happen? I don't know but in the days before the Internet it would have made me nuts. And I was surprised to read that Carole King wrote it. She must have written a million songs!
