WELL THATS A RELIEF! but seriously, me and Freakchic will tell you guys to look at the webcam, and you will see us freaking out, and going "look! look! the stripes! the ACTUAL STRIPES!!!!!" i am going to cross them barefoot. ;) and i have heard tell that Freakchic will have a snazzy hat on. ;D

When I was in London this January I asked the hotel stuff how I could get to Abbey Road, and they were confused! We had to look up the street on the map, which I could have done myself without their help. But when I arrived there (following their advice) and had to walk all the way down the street to find the crossing I realized that I should have got off at a different underground station. Well, at least now I know Abbey Road up and down, every corner! The wall was covered with signatures and inscriptions, which as they say are painted over every three months. So now my words of love are covered with another coat of white paint.

It is 1 a.m. in London now, and I just saw a double-decker bus and a black cab drive by on the webcam. Very cool.
Jane, I enjoyed reading your post--I visited Abbey Road many years ago and what you wrote brought back fond memories for me. I still recall that the studio wall and the Abbey Road street signs were covered in writing. Too bad I didn't have a marker on me when I was there, otherwise I would have written some gushing "words of love" myself! (heart1)
