Michael Jackson memorabilia dominated auction sales in 2011, with six of the top ten most expensive items sold once belonging to the King of Pop. The list clearly illustrates how Jackson’s legacy has continued to grow since his death, and that fans and collectors are willing to pay record prices to own a piece of his legend.The Top 10 list also features items from regular auction best-sellers The Beatles, with handwritten lyrics, the famous 'Yesterday' piano and John Lennon's 'Bed Peace' sign all selling at auction.The list is completed with a now-iconic dress worn by Amy Winehouse on the cover of her seminal album ‘Back to Black’, before her tragic death in July 2011.
