Phil is guilty! Murder in the 2nd degree! 15 years to life (which could mean 8 served). He's 69.
Here's his mugshot.

That photo just screams creepy. :o :o

Rum lot these music types , it's a weird world they live in .
His Long And Winding Road as led him to this door , which maybe was always going to be the case ?
-
The jury did the right thing here.
The guy is responsible for a human life.
What a messed up pathetic soul he truly is.
-
It's hard for me to sort out my feelings of awe and respect for what he did musically (starting with The Teddy Bears "To Know Him is to Love Him"; through the early to mid-60s Wall of Sound with the Shirelles, Ronettes and others; Let It Be; All Things Must Pass; Plastic Ono Band) and disgust for killing that woman (gotta assume the jury got it right).
-
Not surprised the jury "finally" got this one right! If I remember, there was a hung jury already previously? This guy has had a long, LONG, history of strange behavior, and it finally caught up with him. He scared John Lennon sh*tless on at least one occasion during the producing of "Imagine"............."playing" with his gun. Someone was eventually going to get hurt, sadly it was that gal....................I bet Paul Mccartney isn' too sad to see the guy "who threw-up all over my songs" go to jail.
-
I'm sure Paul wouldn't mind if they tacked on a couple years for "Long and Winding Road" alone. I can't believe George let the knucklehead record all effects to tape (which mars All Things Must Pass). But still I wouldn't kick a guy too hard when he's down (even if he deserves it). He did do a great job with the quieter songs on ATMP as well as on John's POB and Imagine.
And Brian Wilson might never done what he did with the Beach Boys but for "Be My Baby" which counts for a helluva lot.
And I love what Phil did with the Righteous Brothers.
Well, well, well . . . .

WOW, that picture is creepy!
He looks like he's saying "You're next..."
I've heard the name Phil Spector a lot over the years, but I never knew who he was until now (sorry for my green ignorance)
I just heard on the radio yesterday that he was found guilty of murder, and I thought, "the same Phil Spector I keep hearing about?" whoa...

He's got a wife? Incredible. If suffering makes you godly, this lady surely has her ticket punched for the big Rock Concert in the sky, eh?
-
Dunno if this is old news, but... Phil Spector is in jail for 19 years to life, so it seems he may finally pay the price for his treatment of Let It Be! Nahh, I believe he was convicted for murder of a person, not an album.

I think she's just in it for the money. It probably works out better now, because she can publicly support him like a ~good wife~ but she doesn't have to sleep with him.
