My daughter Elizabeth got me a nice little piece of Beatle wall art for Christmas!

That is sweet, Dave; what a thoughtful daughter you have! Your whole family (including Greta!) seems very warm and down to earth.

Yes, Snoopy, they're bootlegs.  As posted above, 17 ~1 hour CDs of digital transfers from the master tape recordings that were made by the film crew during the thirty days in January 1969 that The Beatles spent at the Twickenham and Apple Studios rehearsing for the rooftop concert (the entire concert is included) and recording for the Get Back album.

Recording Information: The majority of the audio found on this set was recorded by the Let It Be film crew. Two Nagra mono reel-to-reel tape recorders were utilized to capture nearly every moment of the sessions. One tape recorder was assigned to each camera and, each time that camera began filming a beep would be heard on the tape to allow for later synchronization with the picture.

It's an amazing experience hearing conversations and songs being rehearsed and recorded sounding as though one was in the studio listening through the monitors.  The Beatles break into several extemporanous songs as well during the sessions.  One of my favorites is this blues rendition of The Long And Winding Road...

The Beatles - the long and winding road Blues version

That's the eBay vendor I bought my box set from, Kev and Snoopy.  It arrived a couple of days ago and I've listened to a few discs.  It's a great box set!  The audio quality is as good as the 1987 discs but in MONO.

Enjoy your Capitol Beatles discs, Dirk.

I bought their last LP the first week it was released in 1970.  It's labeled The Beatles Again...

Later pressings were labeled Hey Jude.

Nice set.  Hope you're playing them.

I was in error before when I said that The Beatles Again (Hey Jude) was their last LP.  It came out a few months prior to Let It Be because its post-production by Apple was delayed.

So, the Hey Jude album was an Apple release, not Capitol.  I guess it's part of this set because the LP has been out of print for a long time and, with the standardization of Beatles CDs in 1987, was never released in CD format.

As I bought my LP within a week of its release, the record labels say The Beatles Again.  Later pressings had labels which said Hey Jude.
