Watched The King's Speech. Wasn't expecting too much but I was very pleasantly surprised. Colin Firth was brilliant as was his Australian co star (his name escapes me now). I mentioned this film to someone at work and they said "Oh I want to see that, I like Colin Farrell".

Ho hum.

Across the Universe is a wonderful movie  :) I've never seen I Am Sam though, looked it up on Wiki and it looks pretty interesting...so thanks for the tip!  ;D

Geoffery Rush?

Yes that's the fella! He was the star of the film for me.

In My Life, yes you should definitely see this. It lived up to the hype for me anyway.

I thought maybe it was about time to watch American Graffiti again. What a great movie. I even love the way they did the closing credits, even though The Beach Boys' "All Summer Long" wasn't actually released until 1964; two years after the movie was said to take place. It fits so perfectly though! I'd post the clip but that would ruin the ending for anyone who hasn't seen it.  ;)

My wife and me just saw `The Descendants'. Very nice movie!

Have you saw it? Have you saw shirts which George Clooney wore?! I want such shirts too! I wonder where can I buy it. Just surfed the Internet but didn't find much.

Very visual movie.  I think there's a love story in there somewhere.

I recently saw War Horse, about time, really. I was actually a bit skeptical at first because I thought it was just going to be one of those soppy, over-dramatic films with corny background music, despite all those award nominations! And to be honest...I only watched it because of Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston, BUT the film was fantastic. I thought it was a very powerful, emotional and beautiful film, and (spoiler alert, maybe?) the scene where the English and German soldiers were helping the horse Joey out of the tagged wire was especially sweet.
8 out of 10!  ;yes
