A San Francisco Beatles tour with a little British weather

Donna Jackson, who's from the Beatles' hometown of Liverpool and who we've featured in articles previously (she headed up a group of students working on restoring the garden at Mendips, John Lennon's childhood home), has been in the United States for several weeks as part of a cross-country tour combining her academic work at the University of Chester and a vacation. Her stops included Las Vegas, where she saw the Beatles' "LOVE", then she moved on to San Francisco, where we met for the first time last Friday. The plan was to take her to both the Cow Palace and Candlestick Park where the Beatles played in 1964 and 1966, which she'd never been to before.
