Giveaway: George Harrison: Living in the Material World

Martin Scorcese’s fascinating documentary about the former Beatle, George Harrison: Living in the Material World, premiered on HBO last year and finally hit DVD earlier this month. To celebrate, Consequence of Sound is offering its readers a chance to take home either the DVD or its accompanying soundtrack on vinyl or CD. George Harrison knew about mindfulness

Of all the Beatles, George Harrison seemed to be the quietest and least known.  But beginning with his hit song, "My Sweet Lord," in 1970-71, the Beatle that previously had seldom been heard took the forefront with a solo career reflecting spirituality and a contemplative stance.

Vaulted George Harrison CD release coincides with Scorsese documentary film

It is likely that more previously unreleased George Harrison tracks will be released in addition to the newly curated works from the late Beatles guitarist that have recently been made available as a companion to Martin Scorsese's film Living In The Material World.
