Karen had such a stunning voice but boy what a talented drummer she was too. Those clips were amazing, that first clip showed what a great act they were.

Hal Blaine played on the Carpenter albums, but he said Karen was a very capable drummer.

Karen played drums on The Carpenters' first album, Ticket To Ride, and on their second album, Now And Then with the exception of one track.

She spent many hours a day for years, at first developing her drumming skills, and later developing her vocal skills.

Dino Danelli is one of my all time favorites too.  I just played 'Lonely Too Long' the other day.  Love the Rascals.

Sadly, we lost Dino Danelli on December 15, 2022
