Thanks.

Everybody can get these 6 tracks (of course, this is meant for a prelisten, as you will understand ;) ):

1. Save Us (produced by Paul Epworth)
4. Queenie Eye (produced by Paul Epworth)
5. Early Days (produced by Ethan Johns with additional production by Giles Martin)
6. New (produced by Mark Ronson with additional production by Giles Martin)
8. Everybody Out There (produced by Giles Martin)
10. I Can Bet (produced by Giles Martin)

here!

P.D. If it doesn't work, PM me  ;)

This time, the real thing: 1 or 2

I really like the direction Paul has been heading in since Flaming Pie. This album is like a mesh between Flaming Pie and Driving Rain, which are my two favorite Paul albums.

I just hope its not another 'Memory Almost Full'. I hate to say it, but i'm already sick of the song 'New' and that might not be a good thing. I've heard to other songs and really liked them though. Cant wait for the record to come out.

I like it a lot. Very rich instrumental textures. Better vocals than I expected. Some smart lyrics. The whole package for me. I'm won over.

Just had my first listen, unfortunately it was in the car while driving, not the best system.

Initial thoughts are mixed, I think the writing is good, not any throw always in my opinion.

I do feel the entire album feels over produced, too much noise, too many layers.  Very few "clean" moments, would have liked more.

Whether it was intentional because of the "modern" producers chosen or intentional to mask Paul's more fragile voice I don't know.  The vocals were more in the background than I can ever remember for a Paul album.

Despite my negatives above, the writing is strong and I do like it but wonder if the same songs could have translated slightly differently and been better?

Paul McCartney 'New' : Impromptu Acoustic Performance

I'm playing catch-up here but just have to say that this is a neat video. Paul is still fun after all these years.

After one listen I'm not so sure. There isn't much I'm eager to relisten. I will tho.

Just heard the first five songs (in order) off a cd in the car and I may have to retract my statement above.  Those first five songs seemed more clear/clean to me.  Will need to complete the cd listen and compare to the mp3s I was sent.

On my way to work is hilarious from a guy that never "worked" and certainly never took a bus after initial success.  Really like the song.

My first listen was low volume through speakers as I was multitasking, and it seemed just OK. My next listen with headphones really woke me up and I liked it a lot more.

I'm not sure about the second half. I Can Bet is a great song, but the rest on the 'b-side'?
