If you watch old footage, he has so much personality, charisma, and was badass on the drums...

I Saw Her Standing There (Washington Coliseum, February 1964):
The Beatles - I Saw Her Standing There (Washington Coliseum)

She Loves You (Washington Coliseum, February 1964):

Long Tall Sally:
The Beatles - Long Tall Sally (RINGO ROCKS !!!)

Watch him dancing here starting at 1:16 making John laugh:
The Beatles - I feel fine

β€œHe's (Ringo) every bloody bit as warm, unassuming, funny, and kind as he seems. He was quite simply the heart of the Beatles.” – John

^ I totally agree with you! He was a total rocker!  ;D
He goes all out when he's playing live and he puts everything into it. You even see some people pointing at him in some of the footage to say wow look at him. It's always really fun to watch him!  :)
